As a "what I'm intending" post, I'm planning on building Obi-wan's R4 unit (arfour) from Ep II and the begining of Ep III

AWESOME Choice!!!!
That would be a nice new droid to interact with the group.
Also, Maybe next year if the economy allows I hope to put together a Calender of our group called Bots n Bikes.
Kind of a odd combination but it would be cool to see a droid and a custom bike together with a scene from one of the movies.

I would have to guess but it's 12 to 15 droids and we're still building.

Yeah, my thoughts are I want a droid from the movies that isn't just a "you see him for a few minutes", but I'm intimidated by the color pallete of R2-D2 to really do him as a first attempt.

What's interesting is because you never see the body of Arfour on screen, there are several renditions of him in various places.  Even the Hasbro picture on the toy does not match the toy itself nor some of the details like the parts of him you can see on screen (like the horseshoes, etc).  So there's a lot of room for partial artistic license if you will.

Not sure he'll be to a state where I could have a photo-op with him by next year, unless finances loosen up, and the project moves a lot faster.  I'm not intending to do major details (shoulder horseshoes, skin, dome) until at least mid next year as runs become available.  My goal is primary legs and frame done by Christmas.

Decided to give him his own Blog site - http://r4-p17.blogspot.com

Hopefully I'll keep it updated regularly.
